To whoever the poster is above, you should be ashamed of yourself for speaking such B.S.!! That is excessive force and regarless of what the suspects did, it is not their duty to punish them! The suspects did NOT resist arrest therefore 20 police beating three men is ridiculous!! I hop that's your son getting beat one day. THen we'll see if you feel the same way. I am ashamed as a 'white' man to see my own kind doing such cruel things.

You know for certain that the suspects did not resist arrest? I saw that the police approached the vehicle, no one got out when apparently ordered to; there was some struggle to get handcuffs on; once the idiots were cuffed any physical altercations ceased. And oh, look more closely--the first idiot to be placed in a police car looked like he was mouthing off! So go on and defend idiots like this, who were just involved in a shooting minutes before the arrest. Everyone knows that when the police approach, the hands go up and you just get out and STFU. Nothing happens then.
i live in Philadelphia and tensions are high right now. We have 2 cops shot dead this year for senseless reasons. I have seen this video a million times already do i condone police brutality no i do not but right now the amount of gunfire on the streets of Philly is unbelievable. There is no routine traffic stops here anymore. Maybe the media should not play the same video over and over again and maybe they should show the widow and children of the young policeman standing by his coffin over and over again. Maybe then people will stop helping criminals and start realizing how ridiculous all of this shooting crap really is. GO FLYERS!!!!!!!!!

First of all, there is nothing right about beating someone that has not committed a crime. This type of brutality goes on everyday all around the country, but often swept under the rug. It's sad that in 2008, this type of mess still goes on. How are we supposed to feel safe on the street, when the ones that are supposed to protect you, and behaving the same as the people they are supposed to be protecting you from. People need Jesus!

I understand they were still feeling the hurt from their fallen brother. I understand and am sadden also. But this was NOT THE ANSWER!! I work to hard as a Philadelphian! I want my tax dollars going to something more positive. I don't even mind if my tax dollars went to paying for the college education of fallen officers children. Their parent serviced the public and was killed doing so. But not this...I say they sue the cops personally. Let them re-mortgage their homes and beg or borrow money to pay these bums. Don't use my tax dollars for this settlement.

Those thugs broke the law because they are no longer scared of the consequences...they think "oh big deal, i get locked up, have to hang out with my homies, my fam will send money for commisary and I wont ahve to work". First of all this had nothing to do with the cops that got killed previously to this happening, allegedly these three people has something to do with a different crime all together so to say that three people regardless of race were dragged out of a car for any reason and was hit, stomped on, just plain ol beating is ridiculous and its just wrong. Being a cop doesn't uphold you from the law, they cannot go above and beyond the law and just take matters in their own hands because they are stressed, mad, frustrated, whatever the case may be..... And actually no one knows exactly what happened there so none of us can say anything about this we are all just looking at this video at three boys getting a beating by a lot of cops which should not be surprising to anyone....

Its to bad we couldn't have seen the 20 minute chase leading up to the arrest activity huh? Or the "shooting" they were "ale agedly" fleeing from?
